These exercises can be performed while sitting at your desk, while on the phone or just taking a minute to perform them between emails. They do not all need to be performed at the same time, you can try sprinkling them in throughout the day. Find what feels good for you.

  1. Thoracic Extension over your chair

This exercise works on mid back (thoracic) mobility while also opening up through your chest. Perform 10 repetitions.

  1. Scapular Retraction

This exercise works the muscles between your shoulder blades and also works on opening up the front of your chest. Perform 15 repetitions.

  1. Cervical Mobility/Neck Circles

Bringing your neck throughout the available range of motion, you will feel some of your neck muscles stretching while you perform this exercise. Perform both clockwise and counterclockwise for 5 repetitions each.
